General and getting started
What is passion4u?
passion4u is a community platform for adults aged 18 and older, with a focus on couples and unicorns. Singles are welcome. You can discover profiles, build contacts, and connect with others.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
Is registration free?
Yes. Registration and getting started are free. Premium is optional and can be activated later in the portal.
How does registration work exactly?
Registration runs in several steps: verify your email, choose profile type, enter location and basic data, set a password, and accept the privacy policy and terms of use.
What should I do if the verification code does not arrive?
First check your spam folder. If no email arrived, you can resend the code or correct your email address.
Which password rules apply?
Your password must contain at least 10 characters, including lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and numbers. This helps keep your account secure.
Do I need Premium to get started?
No. Base access is permanently free. Premium unlocks additional features later.
Is there a referral program?
Yes. Signed-in members can find their personal referral link in the portal, where current conditions and possible bonus credits are shown.
What are Crowns?
Crowns are credits for optional extras in the passion4u ecosystem. They let you unlock additional options and extensions flexibly. You never need Crowns to start or use passion4u. Crowns cannot be paid out as cash.
Is one account suitable for two people?
Yes. One account is intentionally designed for two people.
What does unicorn mean on passion4u?
On passion4u, a unicorn means a single woman who is open to contacts with couples. Transparency and respectful communication are key.
Can I complete my profile later?
Yes. You can start with the key details and complete your profile later. For better matching, a more complete profile helps.
What is included in base access and what is Premium only?
Base access covers onboarding and the most important core features. Premium extends this with additional features and options. You can find the full overview on the Benefits page.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification protects your account, reduces abuse, and ensures that important notifications can be delivered to you.
Is my birthdate publicly visible?
No. Your birthdate is not shown publicly. Only your age is visible. As a Premium member, you can hide it in settings.
Are profiles publicly visible?
No. Profiles and contact search are only visible inside the protected portal for signed-in users. Public pages are for onboarding and information.
Does passion4u use tracking or marketing cookies?
No. Only technically necessary cookies and local storage values are used for secure operation.
How can I request access to or deletion of my data?
You can submit a privacy request via the contact form. This includes, for example, access, correction, or deletion where no legal retention duty applies.
Can I pause or delete my account?
Yes. In account settings, you can manage your account and pause or delete it depending on your needs.
Are my photos publicly visible?
No. Photos are not publicly visible on the web. They are only shown inside the portal for signed-in users and can be further restricted by your visibility settings.
How do I report inappropriate behavior and how fast do you respond?
You can report suspicious or inappropriate content directly through the reporting and feedback features in the portal. Reports are reviewed promptly and handled according to clear rules.
How does matching work in general?
Matching is mainly based on your profile details, interests, settings, and activity. The more complete your profile is, the more suitable suggestions become.
How do I keep my account safe?
Use a strong unique password, never share your credentials, and report suspicious content via the available feedback options.
How can I contact support?
Use the contact form on the contact page. In the portal, you can also send categorized feedback with a message.
